Great, when it works...

Great app, but they better fix these annoying bugs soon! App crashes constantly, or becomes unresponsive. Its great, when it actually works, which it mostly wont.

Omg

Wtffff I thought this was a book and....let me see some one leave a bad review on this.... Ill look for you.

great for beginners

good concept but not loud enough or high enough quality to use professionally

Its aight

But you guys need to update to the new hardware, phones and pads. Stay ahead of the curve please and add more controls for the mastering equalization.

Pleasantly surprised!

Im new to mastering and I was surprised to see how good this app is. It makes everything really easy to learn and get great sounding results.

Works great but...

sometimes when I finish mastering and share the file to my computer then put it on my phone the new file has weird random light "pops" in it... is this a problem on my end or with the app? not sure. but I love it regardless! worth it I think

Nice app

Its been fun and easy to use unlike the other apps this one you can successfully use even with little to no experience, you are relying on the know how of the creators. Not really your own, thats what I was looking for. Seems to work good with my Accustic songs guitar and vocals . Thank you :)

Mastering

To stop the light clicks and pops dont play your track while rendering.. Mix your track down in your DAW and make a stereo track before converting to MP3 and uploading to mastering... Actually a great app if you follow these instructions... Also adjust the compression as needed or you track will sound distorted..

Waste of money

What a sorry excuse for mastering software. Howie may be a master but his software is a rip off. Dont waste your money. If I could Id give this negative stars.

Edit: help! App needs attention...

EDIT 4/16: Not sure whats happening, but the most recent attempts to use the app produce a ton of artifacts - clicks/pops galore - and this when using recommended settings. Framerate/buffer? Newer iOS audio handling? No idea. Im using an iPhone 6, v9.3.1. Help me Howie-wan. Youre my only hope! _________________ Original Review: When this app came out all of my critical/cynical hackles were raised; too good to be true, dont like the idea of using "stock" or "generic" curves, nothing here that cant be done with other stuff and some clever routing, dont like the appeal to laziness... so I said if it went on sale Id check it out. Maybe. But after continuing to be not so happy with my final mixdown exports I had a change of heart: so what if that curves been used [successfully] by other people before me? No need to re-invent the wheel, right? Honestly - its pretty good. Tried it in one of my mixes and immediately got more presence thatd always escaped me before. There are some things Id like to see changed - the ability to import stem tracks and mix down/master in the app instead of importing an entire mixdown and treating that - and the Dropbox support could stand to go both ways (you can import an audio file from Dropbox but not upload your finished mix back, and the email option is useless for big .wav files) ...but in short, does what it says on the box. Would like to see these issues addressed and more control over stereo field imaging. For $5, however, youre not getting cheated at all. Thanks Howie!
